Time for a little pre-travel tuneup?
Hello, Spring!
Those of us living in the Midwest have a long tradition of skipping town for a week each spring. If you’re among those setting out in search of sunnier skies this year, take some time to make sure your car is in tip-top shape BEFORE you head out on your Spring Break adventure.
- Get your oil changed, especially if you plan to put a significant number of miles on your car.
- Check the air pressure in your tires. You can usually find recommended air pressure levels in your owner’s manual or on the inside of your driver’s-side door.
- If it’s been a while, take your car in for a routine maintenance check. If you’ve had one recently enough, pop the hood and give your engine a once-over. It’s never a bad idea to make sure everything is working as it should be.
- Make sure you have your auto insurance card in your car and/or wallet.
Best wishes as you embark on your springtime journey!
