I was not looking forward to buying a car, but this was a great experience. Meagan was absolutely wonderful and very knowledgeable. All the employees we worked with or just chatted with were friendly and professional. It was actually fun and very easy. I'd say the people that work at Don Ayres enjoy what they do and certainly make customers feel welcome.

Buying a car can be stressful. The dealership needs checked out, the manufacturer and model of car needs reviewed by viable companies and the right salesperson needs found. We bought a new 04 Civic CVP from Don Ayres which still runs great and gave it to a relative. We now needed a car (new or "certified" used) and wanted a Civic or Accord based on our research. Don Ayres site showed that Rick Kruger was chosen by Ft Wayne's people's choice as the best salesperson so I went to see him. I met him and showed him the two vehicles I wanted to try. He didn't do old school sales training of ask a lot of questions to see how you can upsell, instead he just let me test drive the cars. Then we discussed the two cars. I asked him how much was the best price for one of them. He didn't play the I don't know, I have to ask and take off. Instead he gave me a price. That price matched the price range that those viable companies said is a good deal for the car. I told him I was interested in it. Could he beat my bank's pre-approved rate? Yes. He started the paperwork as I brought my husband in to see it and him. We agreed it was a go. He had the car readied by the service dept. as we met with the financial asst. Within a few hours we were driving that new car home and it was the least stressful experience we ever had buying a car. Thank you Don Ayres for offering good cars at good prices and especially for having a non traditional salesman who is more concerned with people than his profit on staff. The Ft Wayne people are correct. Rick Kruger is indeed the best salesman in the city. Don Ayres gets a score of 10 and Rick a score of 100. He also sincerely offers to be there at anytime to answer your questions or concerns about the car you bought. If you need to buy a car, and want to enjoy a kind and knowledgeable salesman who will laugh with you while serving you then you must meet Rick Kruger at Don Ayres Honda and give him a chance to meet your needs.

I recently had a car totaled, and the other persons insurance gave me 4 days to find a car before they stopped paying for my rental. The sales people here not only found the car I wanted, but got it here within 4 days. They have earned a customer for life!
