Occasionally, Honda Motor Company becomes aware of certain features on specific models that aren’t performing as they should be. When this occurs, a recall is issued. Although it can be an inconvenience to take your car in for an unplanned repair, it is important to remember that safety is always our No. 1 priority.

How will I find out if my car is affected by a recall?
Honda will notify you by mail — but keep in mind that recall notices aren’t always mailed all at once. If a recall involves a large number of vehicles, recall notices may be spaced out to make sure we have enough parts to meet demand. Don’t panic if someone you know receives a notice before you. Yours is likely included in an upcoming mailing.

If you feel uneasy about waiting — or if you simply want to make sure you have addressed all recall notices — you can always look up this information online. Head over to this website and enter your Vehicle Identification number. If you don’t have that handy, you can also enter the model and model year of your vehicle to find out if any recalls have been issued.

How much will this cost me?
Good news: You will not have to pay for any repairs that are covered by a Honda recall. Simply schedule an appointment with our service department here, and we’ll take care of the rest.

How long will the repairs take?
This depends on the repair being made, but we always do our best to get your car in and out of our shop as quickly as we can.

If you have any other questions, you are always more than welcome to call and speak to one of our service advisors at 866-445-4848.
