Unusual mail? Take a closer look

Every once in a while, customers tell us they’ve received a piece of mail that seems odd. The letter may include some accurate information about their vehicle, but it doesn’t appear to be from anyone at the dealership.

It’s wise to be cautious.

The above letter is a perfect example. It mentions the fact that the customer has a leased vehicle that is about to mature, and it urges the customer to act quickly.  The letter goes on to say, however, that the letter is from an independent finance company. This letter is NOT from Don Ayres.

In light of this, we want to assure our customers of two things:

• Mail from us will always be identifiable. Both letters and emails will include the Don Ayres logo.
• We do not provide confidential customer information to outside sources under any circumstances.
