Summer vacation … is your car ready?

Sum-sum-summertime is finally here, and if you’re planning to spend at least a few of these gloriously warm days on the road, then you really ought to make sure your car is ready for the journey.

Needless to say, routine maintenance is always a good idea, but before you hit the road, you may want to do the following:

• Rotate tires and have them inspected
• Check brakes
• Top off or change fluids (Oil, coolant, brake and transmission fluid)
• Change any bulbs that need to be replaced
• Replace worn windshield wipers
• Wash car, inside and out

Once you do that, you can hit the road with confidence. Happy travels to all!
