When it comes to selling used cars, David J. Skelly says it’s important to remember the Golden Rule.
Skelly, who has worked at Don Ayres for 38½ years, knows firsthand that customers will come back again and again – as long as you treat them right.
An impressive list of loyal customers proves his theory is correct. He tells of one man who has been back dozens of times. Over the years, the man has bought cars for himself, his four sons, his mother and his mother-in-law.
“I’ve been in used car sales my whole life,” Skelly says. “If you match up the right car with the right person and give them the right price, they’ll keep coming back.”
