Customer Mailbox: A super long-distance sale

I did a ton of online research to find a very good condition, low-ish miles 2009 Pontiac G8 GT to trade my great 2010 Camaro SS in for. Found it at Ayres. Jeff and the team worked with me very well on this long-distance transaction (I live 215 miles away). In addition to the many pics of the vehicle on their site, Jeff created and sent two personalized videos showing me the car up close from all conceivable angles. It was akin to a virtual in-person look. When I was satisfied of the condition of the car, the price negotiations for the trade-in/buy were conducted in a spirited but fair manner. I ended up driving to Fort Wayne from the Cincinnati area on a Saturday. Jeff was away on a trip, but Caleb stood in for him admirably. Nice guy. Everything went extremely smoothly once there and I was driving my “new” car home within an hour or so. The car I purchased was exactly as advertised and I still feel like I got a fair price. I am completely happy with it and my Ayres experience. Seems like a top-notch dealership.
