When fallen leaves become wet, they make roadways extremely slick. It’s important to be extra careful when you slow or stop your vehicle at this time of year. Large piles of leaves can also interfere with your ability to see road markings, potholes and curbs.

You may want to consider a seasonal maintenance check, too. You’ll want to make sure your tires, brakes and wipers are all in working order.
