A recipe from Jeanne …

Jeanne Cluts has worked in the Don Ayres office for more than 10 years, and she also happens to be a pretty phenomenal cook! Every so often, Jeanne passes along one of her amazing recipes. Here, she shares a great recipe for Pots-de-Créme, which makes a tasty dessert that is sure to be a hit!

Recipe: Pots-de-Creme
(Serves 4 to 6)

Ingredients:
1 egg
2 T. sugar
Pinch of salt
6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
¾ c. hot milk (not boiled)
1 tsp. vanilla
Liqueur to taste, such as Crème de Menth, Triple Sec, Kahlua, Grand Marnier or Rum (optional)
Whipped cream (optional) To prepare: Beat egg. Add sugar and salt, and blend with mixer for one minute. Add chocolate chips and hot milk, and blend for another minute. Add vanilla and liqueur of choice, starting with 3 tablespoons. Let thicken a little and pour into pots-de-crème or ramekins. Chill. Serve plain or with a dollop of whipped cream.
